An overview of the developmental pattern of geological hazards in the Mesozoic strata of Jin'an District
Thegeological hazards in Jin'an District,Lu'an City,Anhui Province, are distributed in low mountainous and hilly areas, whereas the main outcrops in low mountainous and hilly areas are mostly Mesozoic strata.Research on the devel-opment law of geological hazards in Mesozoic strata will help to improve residents'understanding of geological hazards in Jinan District and provide a basic basis for the prevention and management of regional geological hazards.Through the collection of basic data on the development of geological hazards in Jin'an District, statistics on the distribution of geological hazards devel-oped in the Mesozoic strata in the study area were collected to analyse the geological conditions, formation mechanism and dis-aster formation mode of the disaster, and to put forward proposals for preventive and control measures. The results are consid-ered:(1)There are 32 geological disaster sites in Jin'an District,of which 21 are developed in the Mesozoic stratum,ac-counting for 65.63 per cent of the total number of disaster sites,of which 17 are landslides and 4 are avalanches, and more than half of the disaster sites in Jin'an District are distributed in the Mesozoic stratum.(2)The management measures and techniques for disaster sites in the region are relatively mature,with"load-shedding engineering+support and blocking en-gineering+drainage engineering"and"load-shedding engineering+protection engineering+drainage engineering"be-ing the main ones;(3)Geological hazards in this formation are mainly controlled by topography and geomorphology, and engi-neered geological rock groups. In the Mesozoic strata of Jin'an District, there are only developed landslide and collapse geolog-ical disasters, and the damage modes of the two geological disasters are different;the damage mode of the landslide geological disaster is mostly a sudden slide+destruction mode, and the disaster mode of the collapse disaster is mainly a slippage or tip-ping+destruction mode and avalanche+destruction mode.(4)Combined with the engineering experience of the existing treatment areas and the results of this research,it is considered that the drainage system can be improved by strengthening the protection in building houses on cut slopes and doing the corresponding drainage measures after cutting slopes;Slope protection can be achieved by using vegetative berms, planting grass seeds and spraying slurry on slopes. The conclusions of the study can provide some guidance and implications for the prevention and control of the same type of slope-cutting and building disasters.
