Research progress on meteorological simulation of WRF model in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area
In recent years,the mesoscale numerical atmospheric model WRF has developed rapidly and been applied more and more widely.This paper summarizes the key issues affecting mesoscale weather numerical simulation,introduces the de-velopment and application of WRF model in meteorological field from three aspects:physical parameterization scheme,driving data and reasonable spatial scale,and illustrates the universality and superiority of WRF model in mesoscale simulation.Fi-nally,by summarizing and sorting out the current application status of WRF model in China,and looking forward to the future development trend of the model,it provides a necessary reference for the research of meteorological simulation of WRF model in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
