Prediction of the migration of phenol-cyanide wastewater contaminants in the air pocket
Taking a regional coking project as the research object, according to the results of engineering analysis,HYDRUS-1 D software was used to construct the transport model of typical pollutants oxygen consumption, ammonia nitro-gen,cyanide,petroleum,volatile phenol, benzopyrene and sulphide in the leachate of the regulating pool of phenol-cyanide wastewater treatment station of the project in the envelope, simulate the prediction of the vertical migration of each pollutant factor in the envelope, and calculate the time and concentration value of the pollutants arriving at the surface of groundwater through the envelope to understand the transport law of pollutants.Calculate the time and concentration values of the pollutants reaching the groundwater surface through the air pocket to understand the transport pattern of the pollutants in the air pocket. The results show:Pollutants discharged will start to infiltrate along the vertical direction to reach each observation point in turn, and the concentration at each observation point first rises and then falls, and as the depth increases, the concentration gradually decreases.During the modelling time(20 years),the concentrations of each of the pollutant factors were well below the background values when they reached the lower greywacke strata via the air inclusion zone, and most of the factors were be-low the detection limits. The prediction results provide a basis for the next step in modelling the migration of pollutants in aqui-fers and determining pollution control measures in the air-packed zone.
