Study on stability of vegetated highway slope under rainfall condition
The stability of vegetation slope is closely related to the shear strength of root-soil composite, which is mainly affected by root action and water action. In this study, the relationship between root content, water content and shear strength of root-soil composite was obtained by direct shear test. The slope with root soil was simplified as a double-layer soil slope.Numerical simulation was used to study the change of pore water pressure and the stability of slope under different rainfall con-ditions.The results show that the roots of ribinia pseudoacacia can significantly enhance the shear strength of soil, and the shear strength decreases rapidly with the increase of water content.Under different rainfall conditions, the change of pore water pressure on the slope surface is basically the same. When the rainfall intensity is less than the soil infiltration capacity, the pore water pressure increases with the increase of rainfall intensity and rainfall duration.Different rainfall conditions have an effect on surface pore water pressure, but the degree is different.Heavy rain has the greatest effect and light rain has the least effect. The safety factor of the slope decreases due to the rainfall, and the greater the rainfall and the higher the rainfall inten-sity,the greater the reduction of the safety factor, which affects the stability of the slope. This study has some reference value for the stability research and disaster prevention and mitigation of vegetation highway slope under rainfall conditions.
