Extraction of solid tide response characteristics of water level in Tangshan wells based on EEMD approach
Taking Tangshan well as the research object, the well water level observation data were decomposed by the Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition( EEMD)method to extract the characteristics of well water level changes caused by solid tides in the well water level, and the reconstructed signals and the theoretical values of solid tides were analyzed by one-way linear regression. The results show that, after the well water level is decomposed by EEMD,each high-frequency component contains part of the solid tide information, and the characteristics of the well water level changes caused by the corresponding factors can be investigated by reconstructing part of the signal components, and the information masked by other factors can be extracted. The time lag in the response of well levels to solid tides was not significant over the selected time range, with Tangshan well levels being more influenced by other factors in the spring and responding better to solid tides in the summer. The EEMD method can better extract the characteristics of solid tide changes in well water levels, and the reconstruction of the decomposition results needs to be selected according to the actual situation of the data.
