Analysis of Land Water Storage Changes in Yangtze River Basin From 2002 to 2016 Based on GRACE Data
GRACE technology has been widely used in the study of changes in land water reserves, and has im-portant practical value and research significance for detecting key parameters of regional water balance. This article was based on a total of 158 GRACE RL05 gravity field models during April 2002 and June 2016.Firstly,it analyzed the weakening effect of different filtering algorithms on the north-south strip error, and explored methods such as Mascon and scale factor to restore GRACE data signal leakage, thus obtaining the long-term time series of land water storage changes in the Yangtze River Basin. The experimental results showed that the water reserves in the Yangtze River Basin have been on an upward trend for a long time, but each tributary exhibits significant spatial heterogenei-ty,namely,the upstream continues to rise, while the middle and lower reaches first decline and then rise.Three types of GRACE data were used to analyze the changes in water storage in the Yangtze River Basin, and the correlation between water storage and precipitation minus evaporation height was verified by combining the measured data from meteorological stations. It was also demonstrated that Mascon and scale factor methods can restore GRACE data to a certain extent.A preliminary analysis was conducted on the impact of the two water storage events in the Three Gor-ges Reservoir on the changes in water storage in the reservoir area. However, due to the low spatial resolution of GRACE data,it is difficult to obtain completely consistent results with the reservoir capacity simulated by DEM.
