Sedimentary characteristics and"sweet spot"prediction of Block Hainan 20 in Yuehai Oilfield
Taking the Dongying Formation oil layer of Block Hainan 20 in Yuehai Oilfield in the southern section of the Yuedong-Hainan tectonic belt,Liaohe Depression,as the research object,a detailed research on sedimentary characteristics was conducted in Block Hainan 20,integrating regional drilling, well logging, core, seismic, and analytical data. Two sedimentary facies types, fan delta and braided river delta were identified, with further identification of six subfacies types. On the basis of the sedimentary facies research, through the analysis of sensitive parameter variations in well logging curves of reservoirs, the resistivity and wave impedance response thresholds of favorable reservoirs within the study area were quantitatively characterized.Applying the geostatistics-based resistivity inversion prediction technology,a constrained inversion was performed on the"sweet spot"of Dong-ying Formation reservoirs in target layers, successfully addressing the challenge of predicting"sweet spot"in thinly-interbedded complex reservoirs, and providing important referential significance for the exploration and development of similar areas.
