确定东亚冬季风强度指数的一种方法探讨

利用1961-2000年美国NCEP/NCAR再分析的海平面气压资料,选择用亚洲一澳大利亚季风(A-A季风)系统中西伯利亚高压和澳大利亚低压两个大气活动中心之间标准化的气压差来表征东亚冬季风强度.分析表明,新指数对中国区域(青藏、云贵高原除外)冬季气温的影响显著,特别是与中国东北大部、西北部分区域和华北、华东大部区域的相关程度更好.对东亚冬季风强度的同期环流及海表温度场特征的分析结果显示,该指数可合理和客观地表述东亚冬季风的强度.东亚冬季风强度与同期印度洋西部海温有较显著的负相关.
A Method for Determining Intensity Index of East Asian Winter Monsoon
Using the monthly mean reanalysis data from NCAR/NCEP, difference values of the normalized sea level pressure between Siberian High and Austrilian Low in the Asia - Australia monsoon system, were put forward as a kind of index to describe the East Asian winter monsoon in the paper. It was shown that the new intensity indexes of East Asian Winter Monsoon were significantly negative correlation with the winter temperatures o-ver China except in the southwest highland regions. There was the correlation relationship in the most areas in Northeast, North China, East China and some areas in Northwest China. With the index, the intensity of EAWM was described reasonably and objectively by statistical analysis on the characteristics of circulations and sea surface temperatures. There was negative correlation relationship between the index and the sea surface temperature significantly over the western Indian Ocean in winter in synchronization.
