Can the Land Market-oriented Reform Improve the Production Efficiency of Enterprises?—Research Based on a Quasi-natural Experiment of Market-oriented Reform of Industrial Land
Deepening market-oriented reform of land factors is an important means to improve total factor pro-ductivity and promote high-quality development.Based on the perspective of micro enterprises, this paper uses the differential difference model to investigate the impact of land market-oriented reform on enterprise total fac-tor productivity, and explores the influencing mechanism from three aspects:resource utilization, resource al-location and technological innovation. The results indicate that during the research period, the land market-ori-ented reform has significantly promoted the production efficiency of enterprises by increasing about 14%.The smaller the enterprise size, the higher the land dependence of the industry, the more obvious the improvement effect of TFP.The improvement of the production efficiency of enterprises in northeast and western China is significantly higher than that in eastern China. From the intermediary effect, this reform can promote the TFP of enterprises by promoting the resource allocation and technological innovation.Resource utilization mechanism doesn't play a significant mediating role. Therefore,to continue to promote the market-oriented re-form of industrial land,to focus on optimizing the allocation of land resources among enterprises, and to im-prove the level of enterprises technological innovation are conducive forces that might help to improve enterprise productivity.
