The key to teaching ideological and political theory courses is lies with the instructors.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping has made many suggestions on how to teach ideological and political theory courses well.Instructors of ideological and political theory courses are encouraged to follow the fundamental approach of"Dao",i.e.to implement the educational policy of the Com-munist Party of China,teach scientific theories and convey advanced concepts to students.At the same time,instructors of ideological and political theory classes need to develop profound"academic knowledge"into the subject,and win the trust of students with solid insights and thorough theoretical analytical competency.They may also need to master the"technical skill"of establishing affinity with students in order to stimulate their learning interests,and give full play to their subjectivity role.
