Progress and Consideration of Academic Research on National Parks
National parks are important form for the conservation of the ecological natural resources and historical and cultural heritages. Since the establishment of its first national park, the United States national park management system has become more and more mature and perfect with its growth. During this period, its national park management system is widely adopted all around the world. Based on an analysis of numerous literature and data, this paper sorts out the development of national parks in China in order to provide a clear understanding of the research on the develop-ment of foreign national parks in China, states the present research on the concepts of national parks in China, the feasibility of constructing national parks in China, the comparison between national parks in China and national parks of other countries and problems in national parks in China, discusses the challenges that National Parks in China are facing, hoping to provide experi-ences and references for related research and the development national parks in China.
