Fertilization and mowing are important measures of grassland management.Taking the dominant species of Leymus chinensis in Hulunbuir meadow steppe in Inner Mongolia as the re-search object, the effects of fertilization and different stubble height on chlorophyll content of Ley-mus chinensis leaves were analyzed. The results showed that fertilization significantly increased the chlorophyll content of Leymus chinensis leaves, mowing had no significant effects on chlorophyll content of Leymus chinensis leaves, the interaction between fertilization and mowing was not signif-icant.The chlorophyll content of Leymus chinensis leaves was significantly different among the va-rious years. The chlorophyll content of Leymus chinensis leaves had the minimum coefficient of variation at stubble height of 9 cm and 12 cm.There was no significant correlation between leaf chlorophyll content and aboveground biomass or relative biomass of Leymus chinensis.
