Can the"Yixin Europe"China Europe Freight Train Promote Industrial Structure Upgrading?——Based on the Perspective of Counties in Zhejiang Province
The upgrading of industrial structure is not only a universal law of economic develop-ment,but also has universal guiding significance for enhancing the international competitiveness of developing countries.Based on the quasi natural experiment of the opening of the"Yixin Eu-rope"China Europe freight train,relevant indicator data from 53 counties(cities)in Zhejiang Province from 2006 to 2021 were selected,and the DID model was used to test the impact and mechanism of the opening of the"Yixin Europe"China Europe freight train on the upgrading of county industrial structure.The results show that the opening of the"Yixin Europe"China Eu-rope freight train can significantly inhibit the upgrading of industrial structure in Zhejiang coun-ties.Every increase in the number of"Yixin Europe"China Europe freight trains by one stand-ard deviation will reduce the level of industrial upgrading in Zhejiang counties by about 5.4%.The analysis of the impact mechanism shows that the financial support effect path inhibits the up-grading of industrial upgrading in Zhejiang counties,while the trade opening effect path pro-motes the upgrading of industrial upgrading in Zhejiang counties.
