The Impact of Environmental Concerns on Residents'Willingness to Participate in Forest Ecological Compensation——Based on the Survey Data of Antu County
This study elaborates that local residents in national key forest ecological functional ar-eas are the ultimate implemutors of ecological protection and the direct beneficiaries of ecological compensation.This study investigated the impact of residents'environmental concern on ecologi-cal protection willingness through psychological variables,and its important significance in im-proving the effectiveness of ecological protection.Based on 967 valid questionnaires from 7 towns and 2 townships under the jurisdiction of Antu County,this study analyzes residents'will-ingness to compensate for ecological protection and its influencing mechanism,and adds envi-ronmental concern as an anandependant variable to the traditional planning behavior theory.En-tropy method and multiple linear regression analysis model were used as research methods ffor a-nalysis.The empirical results show that:(1)there is a significant positive correlation between environmental concern and behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavioral con-trol;(2)Behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have significant positive correlation with residents'ecological protection intentions,among which subjective norms have the most significant impact on residents'ecological protection intentions.Based on this,suggestions are proposaed to enhance residents'willingness to participate in ecological compensa-tion in Antu County from two aspects:strengthening the publicity of ecological protection com-pensation concept and formulating reasonable ecological compensation policies.
