This study firstly analyzes the macro background of the literature review.Secondly,this study analyzes the development status of economic cooperation between Dalian and major economies in Northeast Asia from two aspects of foreign trade and attracting and foreign investment.Thirdly,the empirical analysis of the economic and trade cooperation between Dalian and Northeast Asian countries is conducted by gravitational model.the results show that the value of import and export between Dalian and Northeast Asia countries are positively correlated with the GDP of Dalian city and Northeast Asia countries,but negatively correlated with the distance between Dalian and Northeast Asia countries;Dalian attracting FDI has a significant positive effect on the export of Dalian to Northeast Asia countries;if the Northeast Asian country is also a RCEP member,it will have a significant promoting effect on Dalian's imports from that country.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed.
