Spatial difference and influencing factors of network attention of red scenic spots in China from the perspective of short videos
Based on the data of network attention of twenty typical short video platforms in China, this study uses the methods of the rank-size model, the kernel density and the optimal parameter detector to analyze the spatial pattern and influencing factors of red scenic spots in China. The results show that:(1)From the perspective of spatial distribution, the overall pattern is characterized by five core areas and multiple growth poles. In addition, the core spots are mainly distributed in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,Chongqing municipality,Sichuan province,Hubei province,Hunan province,Jiangsu province,Anhui province and Liaoning province.Simultaneously, multiple growth poles have emerged in regions such as Shanxi province,Shaanxi province,Guangdong province and Fujian province.(2)From the perspective of classification results, both the level of network attention and the basic strength of the revolutionary memorial facilities and revolutionary historical sites are low,but the synergy between the network attention and the physical grade of scenic spots is weak.Although the former residences of great figures, comprehensive memorial halls, and red education bases have a higher physical status, the level of internet development in the region has led to generally low network attention for these attractions.(3)From the perspective of the rank-size model and the spatial correlation,it shows obvious advantages and local polarization effect in the high-rank red scenic spots, but the proportion of high-tier attractions is only 6.01%,and the hot spots are mainly distributed in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,Shanxi province,Shandong province,Liaoning province,Henan province and Shanghai municipality. The number of middle-rank spots is the largest, accounting for 91.68%,but the level of attention of these spots is similar. The spots at low-rank level show larger difference in terms of the network attention, and the cold and sub-cold spots formed are primarily concentrated in the central and western regions of China such as Jiangxi province,Hunan province and Guizhou province.(4)From the perspective of influencing factors, the basic strength of spots and the intensity of governmental assistance are dominant. The secondary factors are the tourism resource endowment, the marketing power of network and the hierarchical systems of cities. The factors that do not have significant explanatory power are the support of population, the convenience of traffic and the industrial structure.Based on the above results, this study proposes the"One Belt and Four Axes"optimization path.
