Socialmedia interaction and corporate innovation investment
Based on the Q&A data from the"Interactive Easy"and"E-Interaction"platforms,and using A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2022 as samples,this study examines how social media interaction affects corporate innovation investment in terms of interaction level and interaction quality.The findings indicate that both factors significantly promote innovation investment.Specifically,the quantity as well as the targeting,readability,professionalism,and timeliness of interaction all have significant positive effects.Mechanism analysis suggests that increasing tolerance for failure and improving corporate governance may be potential pathways through which social media interaction facilitates innovation.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the promoting effect of social media interaction on corporate innovation investment is more pronounced in companies with more short-sighted managers and those listed on the Growth Enterprise Market.This study extends the relevant literature and provides insights for promoting corporate innovation and high-quality development.
