How is a non-ideological ethics possible?——On Althusser's contribution to Marxist ethics
Based on his judgment of an epistemological break in Marx's philosophy,Louis Althusser proposed an anti-humanist stance within Marxism.By relying on a pluralistic determinism of contradictions,Althusser challenged the legitimacy of establishing a humanism-based Marxist ethics. In doing so,he provided a theoretical framework for constructing a non-ideological ethics rooted in the nature of historical materialism. This approach goes beyond the traditional understanding of ethics within the framework of Western philosophy and embodies a scientific characteristic aligned with historical materialism.
