The Construction of a Conceptual Discourse System for Chinese Maritime Civilization
Chinese maritime civilization is an endogenous driving force for building China into a mari-time power and an important part of building a modern civilization for the Chinese nation.Due to the changes of the times,the academic circles'cognition of the conceptual meaning of maritime culture is undergoing constant change.To strengthen the construction of maritime culture,it is necessary to have a correct cognition of the conceptual discourse of Chinese maritime civilization.A conceptual discourse system of maritime civilization can be established,consisting of four levels of maritime environment,maritime economy,maritime society and maritime culture by integrating historical and contemporary conceptual changes,reexamining,revising and reconstructing its con-ceptual discourse in different types,enabling it to become a tool for thinking and research so as to break the hegemony of Western discourse,develop and innovate the theory of maritime civiliza-tion,conform to the requirements of the times and promote Chinese maritime civilization to embark on a new journey in the new era and achieve new achievements.
