China's View of Human Rights and Its Philosophical Foundation in the New Era
Human rights follow both the principle of universality of human beings and the principle of re-ality particularity of its realization. In contrast to Western world's narrow view of human rights in its philosophical paradigm of"subject-object dichotomy",in the new era China has embarked on a path of human rights development with both universality and particularity, contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the cause of human rights in the world. In the new era,China's view of human rights is the"concept of equal human rights"based on the philosophy of"equality of man and man as master",the"concept of people-oriented human rights"based on the"people-supreme"value orientation, the"concept of universal human rights"with the pursuit goal of"benefits for all",the"concept of symbiotic human rights"with"common destiny"as the overall strategy, the"concept of systematic human rights"with"the unity of human beings, groups and individuals"as the lofty realm as well as the"concept of development of human rights"based on the reality of"gradually advancing the cause of human rights according to the material living con-ditions of the society".
