The Impact of Digital Literacy on Life Quality of Rural Residents
Improving rural residents'cognition of digital technology is an important part of the construc-tion of digital countryside.From the perspective of rural residents'perception of digital technolo-gy,the empirical analysis of digital literacy's impact degree,mechanism of action and effect of heterogeneity on their quality of life is of great importance for optimizing the strategy of digital vil-lage construction.It is found that digital literacy can significantly improve the quality of life of ru-ral residents,especially at the social communication level.Digital literacy indirectly improves the quality of life of rural residents by stimulating their digital behaviors.The effect of digital literacy on quality of life is more pronounced among those with low levels of education,males and Party members.Based on this,it is suggested to promote the construction of digital infrastructure,es-tablish a system for fostering digital literacy and develop a digital literacy support model to enhance rural residents'perception of the Internet.
