"Security-development Nexus"Under the Construction of China-ASEANCommunityof Shared Future:Relationships,Intrinsic Logic and Path Selection
In recent years,problems and challenges in Southeast Asia have emerged in an endless stream,which contain a di-verse background of"security-development".For a long time,security and development,based on the fact of"security-development",has risen from the early binary division to the connected whole to keep away from the original abstract separation.With the Belt and Road Initiative,the Global Development Initiative,the Global Security Initiative,the Global Civilization Initia-tiveand the China-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,the interaction between China and ASEAN in security and de-velopment is gaining momentum.The two sidesare promoting and complementing each other to form a new pattern of nexus gradually.Their economic and trade cooperation moves towards security cooperation,which in turn contributes to economic and trade cooperation and becomes a reservoir and stabilizer for building a community of shared future between China and ASEAN.As an important actor in Southeast Asia,the"security-developmentnexus"between China and ASEAN is an inevitable choice for the construction ofthe China-ASEAN community of shared future,which provides a positive demonstration effect for regional co-operation and helps to resolve the conflicts,differences and uncertain risks in Southeast Asia.The construction of this community is the product of active interaction and continuous exploration,adaptation and sublimation in practice between China and ASEAN,transcendingtheir pure bilateral scope and providing a powerful engine for building an inclusive,open,fair and just world order.The"security-development nexus"and the construction of the China-ASEAN community of shared future have afour-dimensional internal logic of philosophy,objectives,functions,and methods.To build theChina-ASEAN community of shared future under the"security-development nexus",it is suggested to strengthen strategic mutual trust,expand institutional co-operation,consolidate material foundation and deepen cultural exchanges.
