Cooperation in Digital Economy with ASEAN:Achievements and Development Paths of Guangxi,China
In recent years,digital economic cooperation between China and ASEAN countries has become increasingly ac-tive,making the digital economy a significant area of regional cooperation.As a frontier window of China's opening-up and coop-eration with ASEAN,Guangxi has given full play to its location advantages,promoted the digitalization construction for ASEAN with the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Harbor as the fulcrum,and continuously strengthened cooperation with ASEAN countries in digital infrastructure,application scenarios,digital finance and digital platforms,and digital trade,and has achieved remarkable results in all aspects.However,challenges such as shortcomings in Guangxi's digital economy development,the digital divide among ASEAN countries,and the immaturity of cooperation standards and rules pose serious obstacles to Guangxi's efforts to develop in-depth digital economic cooperation with ASEAN.As the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation pro-gresses steadily in ASEAN,the digital economy has become a vital driver for the construction of the China-ASEAN Digital Silk Road,presenting new opportunities for cooperation.In the future,Guangxi can focus on continuously strengthening its industrial foundation for cooperation with ASEAN,exploring and establishing cross-border and cross-provincial coordination mechanisms,enhancing digital economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges,and deepening digital talent training and cooperation to promote stable and far-reaching digital economic cooperation with ASEAN.
