Distributed generation (DG) will change characteristics of power flow and faults of traditional distribution network as well as the network operation mode,especially the operation of relay protection and automatic circuit breaker re-closing.In this paper,the characteristics and influences of several types of distributed generation and connection pattern,relay protection and automatic circuit breaker re-closing are analyzed.Standards of relay protection when distributed generation access to distribution network are discussed as well.
