This article studies the modeling and control of the combustion process of coal-fired boilers in power plants.A method was proposed to achieve flame geometry and position control by redistributing ignition. This control ensures that the flame focus away from the boiler wall is maintained, thereby reducing combustion by-products.In addition, uniform heat dissipation on the rolling mill improves the energy efficiency and reliability of the boiler. The model recognition process using adaptive parameter estimation method was analyzed in detail on experimental data of actual boilers in power plants.Secondly, this article proposes Constrained Multivariate Extreme Search(ES)to optimize boiler operation and maintain the required flame configuration in the furnace. Finally, the effectiveness of the ES adaptive controller in the presence of disturbances was demonstrated through simulation of the experimentally determined boiler model.
