This paper systematically reviews the development trends of sensorless control technology for permanent magnet synchronous motors,analyzes the mathematical models and structural diagrams of different technologies such as extended back electromotive force method,sliding film observer method,and Longberg observer method under medium and high speed conditions,analyzes the vector diagram principles of various strategies such as pulse vibration high-frequency signal injection method and low-frequency current injection method under zero low speed,reveals and compares the advantages and disadvantages of various sensorless control technologies for permanent magnet synchronous motors,analyzes the corresponding applicable scenarios,and prospectively points out the topics that may be focused on in future research.
