Calculation Methods for the Quality Factor of the Resonant Circuit
The quality factor is the important parameter quantitatively measuring the inherent properties of a resonant circuit, and its magnitude is determined by the circuit's topology and component parameter values.Three independent calculation methods, namely analytical formula method,Lorentz curve fitting method, and eigenvalue numerical calculation method, are used to quantitatively compare the quality factors and relative errors of simple RLC series resonant circuits and complex coupled resonant circuits. The advantages, disadvantages, and applicable conditions of these three quality factor calculation methods are discussed. The calculation results expand the teaching content of complex resonant circuit quality factors in existing education, and better meet the practical engineering application requirements.
