Reservoir classification and remaining oil distribution patterns of Jinzhou south metamorphic buried moun-tain oilfield in Bohai Sea
Jinzhou South Oilfield is the metamorphic rock buried hill oilfield in Bohai Sea to be devel-oped.Currently,it has entered a medium to high water cut period, with diverse water breakthrough patterns in oil wells, complex distribution of remaining oil,and increasing difficulty in stabilizing oil and controlling water.Based on data such as coring, logging, thin sections, and production performance,as well as methods such as three-dimensional physical and numerical simulations, reservoir types are classi-fied,and the distribution patterns of remaining oil under different reservoir types are discussed. The re-sults show that the Jinzhou south metamorphic buried mountain oilfield can be divided into three types of reservoirs:anticline type, semi anticline type, and tilted uplift type.Influenced by factors such as crack opening, density, connectivity, and distance between oil and water wells in different types of res-ervoirs,the production wells in the anticline type reservoir have a long period of anhydrous oil produc-tion,and the remaining oil is mainly enriched in the matrix system to enhance the permeability and suc-tion of the matrix system and enhance the utilization of remaining oil.In semi anticline reservoirs, oil production wells have advantageous water injection directions, and the remaining oil is mainly enriched in fracture systems and matrix systems in non advantageous water injection directions.By regulating the flow field, the injection wave and coefficient in non advantageous water injection directions are strength-ened to improve the utilization of remaining oil.In tilted and uplifted reservoirs, oil wells are prone to rapid water flooding, resulting in a large accumulation of remaining oil in fracture and matrix systems.By controlling the increase in water content, the utilization of remaining oil can be improved. This result has guiding significance for tapping the remaining oil potential of similar buried hill oilfields.
