Reservoir characteristics and main controlling factors of the first member of Qingshankou Formation shale in the Lindian Area,Northern Songliao Basin
The first member of Qingshankou Formation shale in the Lindian Area in the northern part of the Songliao Basin was taken as the object of study, and the sedimentary structure, total organic carbon mass fraction, pyrolytic hydrocarbon potential, mineralogical fractions and reservoir properties of the first member of Qingshankou Formation shale in the Lindian Area were analyzed on the basis of the methods of rock-core observation flake identification organic geochemistry,X-ray diffraction of the whole-rock minerals and scanning electron microscopy We constructed three cross-regional(Lindian-Gulong-Sanzhao Depression)east-west and north-south profiles to study the shale reservoir characteris-tics and main controlling factors. The study shows 7 rock types are developed in the first member of Qingshankou Formation in Lindian Area,in order of clay shale, felsic shale, calcareous shale,calcare-ous-silty mixed shale,clayey-silty mixed shale, carbonate rock and siltstone, with the dominant shale being clay shale and felsic shale, among which the shale petrographic mineralogical composition is char-acterized by the highest content of quartz and feldspar with the average content of 52.0%.The shale reservoir in Lindian Area is characterized by low porosity and low permeability, the effective porosity of shale is between 4.0%-6.5%,the permeability of shale is distributed between(0.101-0.550)× 10-3μm2,and there exists obvious non-homogeneity.The shale oil in the first member of Qingshankou For-mation in Lindian Area is a source and reservoir type of medium-low maturity oil,and it is characterized by stagnant enrichment, and the rock type, organic matter type, organic matter abundance, and physi-cal characteristics have obvious control over the oil content. The results are of positive significance for recognizing the reservoir characteristics of shale development, shale oil enrichment characteristics and exploration potential of Qingshankou Formation in the Lindian Area, and provide theoretical guidance for realizing the breakthrough of land-phase shale oil in this area.
