具有直流故障清除能力的双端口半桥MMC子模块

半桥型模块化多电平换流器无法通过自身来清除直流侧故障,通过改进子模块拓扑,可以实现故障电流的自清除功能.在半桥的基础上,提出了一种具有直流故障阻断能力的双端口半桥子模块,具有负电平输出能力,使用相同规模开关器件的情况下,可以输出全桥两倍的电平数.基于MATLAB/Simulink搭建仿真模型进行验证.结果表明,所提出的子模块具有良好的故障电流阻断能力,输出电平多,能够显著改善电压输出质量.
Dual-port Half-bridge MMC Sub-module with DC Fault Clearing Capability
The half bridge modular multi-level converter cannot clear DC side faults by itself,by improving the sub module topology,the self-clearing function of fault current can be achieved.On the basis of half bridge,a dual port half bridge submodule with DC fault blocking capability was proposed,which had negative level output capability and can output twice the level of the full bridge when using the same scale switching devices.A simulation model was built based on MATLAB/Simulink for verification.The results show that the proposed submodule has good fault current blocking ability with multiple output levels,and can significantly improve the voltage output quality.
