Fault Recording Data Analysis Method Based on Real-time Calculation of Valve Current
A fault recording analysis method based on real-time calculation of valve current was proposed to address the current lack of a real-time analysis method for the operation status of converter valves through recorded data.Firstly, the triggering pulse coding method in the recorded wave data was analysed, and the valve status was calculated in real-time based on the triggering pulse coding and the external AC/DC current of the converter valve;secondly,a method for detecting commutation failure and its recovery based on real-time calculation of valve status using fault recording was put forward;finally, according to the real-time calculation results of valve status and commutation failure detection results based on the recording data from an actual high voltage direct current(HVDC)project, the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified. The calculation results indicate that the proposed method can provide a basis for fault diagnosis of DC systems and optimization of control protection in the future.
