Relationship between the inhibition of tumor growth and the expression of the IL-2,IFN-γ and IL-10 in spleen cells and tumor tissue of renal carcinoma in nude mice after radiothrapy
AIM: To observe inhibiting growth of renal carcinoma after radiation treatment in BALB/c murine and the expression of the IL-2, IFN-γ and IL-10. METHODS: Animal tumor models have been established. The tumor volumes and weight were measured after radiotherapy. The expression of IL-2, IL-10 and IFN-γ protein in splenocytes and tumors were assayed by ELISA and RT-PCR. RESULTS: Tumor regression in radiotherapy more effectively than untreated mice. The expression level of IL-2 and IFN-γ was remarkably increased, the expression level of IL-10 pretein was significantly decreased after radiation. CONCLUSION: The inhibition of growth of tumor were associated with the expression level of IL-2 and IFN-γ was remarkably increased.
