Immunohistochemical expression of gonadotrop in releasing hormone in pancreatic cancer
AIM: To explore the immunohistochemical expression and clinical significance of GnRH in pancreatic cancer. METHODS: GnRH was detected in 46 pancreatic cancer tissues by immunohistochemical streptavidin-peroxidase (SP) method, including 20 cases of highly differentiated pancreatic cancer tissues, 16 cases of moderately differentiated pancreatic cancer tissues, and 10 cases of poorly differentiated pancreatic cancer tissues. RESULTS: GnRH is located in membrance and cytoplasm of pancreatic cancer cells. The expression rate of GnRH in highly differentiated pancreatic cancer tissues is 78.55%, higher than that in moderately (59.31%) and poorly differentiated (50%) pancreatic cancer tissues, which shows that the more difference of pancreatic cancer, the higher expression of GnRH. CONCLUSION: The expression levels of GnRH are related with the malignant degree of pancreatic cancer, and GnRH may be involved in the occurrence and development of pancreatic cancer.
