Clinical analysis of risk factors for postoperative nausea and vomiting after gynecological surgery
AIM:To analyze the incidence and risk factors of postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)in patients undergoing gynecological surgery.METHODS:A total of 254 patients undergoing gynecologic surgery were selected. The groups of patients were carried out depending on age, analgesic ways, the duration of fast and operation. The frequency of the nausea and vomiting within 48 h postoperative was evaluated and made statistical analysis.RESULTS:The incidence of PONV was 59.06%,higher in the first postoperative 24 h and reached a peak in the first postoperative 6 h.Age,duration of surgery and fast had no influence on PONV frequency.Patients who received continuous postoperative analgesia had a higher frequency of PONV.But there was no difference between the well postoperative analgesia cases and the poor ones in PONV frequency.Continuous analgesia groups were more prone to frequent vomiting.CONCLUSION:The incidence of PONV was high and obviously affected by analgesia. This result is helpful to the further prevention and treatment research.
