Investigation on gene frequencies of CSF1PO,TPOX and TH01STR loci in Maonan ethnic group in Guizhou
AIM: To investigate gene frequencies of CSF1PO, TPOX and TH01STR loci in maonan ethnic Group in Guizhou province. METHODS: With chelex-100 method, the DNA of 104 unrelated Maonan individuals were extracted, the DNA sarnies were multiple amplified and PCR products were typed using denat-urated PAGE techniques. Using modified-powerstats and SPSS 13.0 software package, the polymorphism data was caculated and comparison the gene frequencies between Maonan in Guizhou and two Maonan populations in Guangxi in same STR loci. RESULTS: A total of 17 alleles and 40 genotypes were detected in 3 STR loci, the range of allele gene frequecies from 0.0288 to 0. 4087. The distribution of genotypes met Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium ( P > 0.05 ). The heterozygosities (H ) > 0.69, probabilities of paternity exclusion (PPE) >0.5, discrimination power (DP) >0. 8, polymorphism information content (PIC) >0. 6 in CSF1PO, TPOX and TH01STR loci respectively and total of discrimination power (TDP) of those of STR was 0.99743. There was statistical sence of the distribution of allele gene frequecies between Maonan in Guizhou and Guangxi(P <0.05 or P <0.01). CONCLUSION:The results indicate that there are high genetic polymorphism in Guizhou Maonan and high application value in population genetic and forensic research. There was genetic diversity in same or different ethnic groups in different region that there were same origin and there was parallel relation between the distribution of allece gene frequencis and their living region.
