Characteristics of diagnosis and therapy for ureteral calculus in Chinese peacekeeping level 2 hospital in Congo (Kinshasa)
AIM: To approach characteristic of diagnosis and therapy for ureteral calculus in Chinese peacekeeping level 2 hospital in Congo ( Kinshasa). METHODS: After diagnosed clearly by repeated B-ultrasonic scan and urine routine examination, he 18 in-patients were adopted non-operative combined therapy in our hospital from Nov. 2008 to Mar. 2009. RESULTS: All of the in-patients were diagnosed clearly, 13 patients discharged the stone after the treatment (72. 2% ) , 5 patients were relieved. CONCLUSION: Repeated diagnosis by B-ultrasonic scan and urine routine examination could improve the final diagnosis of ureteral calculus under the worse medical condition in Congo ( kinshasa).Non-operative combined therapy is one of the effective methods for ureteral calculus, and it could be spread in the area.
