Clinical significance of TNF-αand IL-18 in acute organophosphorus pesticid poisoning
AIM:To study the clinical significance of TNF-α and IL-18 in acute organophosphorus pesticid poisoning.METHODS:All acute drug poisoning cases enrolled were 42,who were all healthy before poisoning.Conserve the blood serum.Deploying radio immunoassay to determine the levels of TNF-α and IL-18.Compare the levels of TNF-α and IL-18 between poisoning group and health control group(20 cases),and compare the levels of TNF-α and IL-18 of poisoning cases of different prognosis. We dealed all the data of TNF-α,IL-18 and total white cell count with the method of liner regression and correlation analysis.RESULTS:The levels of TNF-α and IL-18 in poisoning group were higher than those of control group(P<0.01).The more severer was the patient's condition, the higher were the levels of TNF-α and IL-18.During the poisoning cases.the levels of TNF-α and IL-18 in death group is evident higher then those of survive group;and the levels of TNF-α and IL-18 were obviously related to total white cell count.CONCLUSION:TNF-α and IL-18 are the serology index to reflect the occurance and change of acute poisoning, they improve prognosis of patients of acute poisoning.
