Study on Mathematical Model and Dynamic Control Method of Hybrid Multi-Pulse Industrial Rectifier System
Renovating original single diode rectifier system by new type of rectifier system adopting inductive filtering mode and composing the renovated rectifier system with other two original conventional 6-pulse rectifier systems, a hybrid 18-pusle industrial rectifier system containing diode uncontrolled rectifiers and thyristor controlled rectifiers is constituted. Based on the presentation of the main circuit of the hybrid 18-pusle industrial rectifier system, the mathematical model of this hybrid rectifier system is analyzed and combining with actual requirement of the load the dynamic restructure of the hybrid rectifier system and corresponding control modes are researched, and through comparative study the optimal operating modes for different working conditions are determined. Results of simulation and engineering tests show that this 18-pusle industrial rectifier system possesses good dynamic stability, meanwhile due to the superiority of the new type of inductive filtering-based DC supply system in harmonic suppression and power factor compensation the demand on power quality can be satisfied.
