Traction power supply system failures cause withdrawal of train, and existing maintenance management mode cannot be suit to the demand of high-speed railway to reliability of traction power supply system, thus it is necessary to build a health management and early warning system for traction power supply system of high-speed railway. By means of monitoring multivariate information in traction power supply system the gray clustering and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation were utilized for real-time assessment of health status of equipments and traction power supply system and by use of correlation of system information and extraction of early faint-signal of fault the . Early warning of latent fault early fault of traction power supply system were implemented. Based on the assessment on health status of traction power supply system, comprehensively considering maintenance cost and system reliability the maintenance strategy was optimized. Applying the proposed health management and fault early warning system, the reliability of traction power supply system for high-speed railway could be effectively improved, the accident probability could be decreased and maintenance cost could be reduced.
