Optimal Partitioning of Substation Service Areas Considering Impacts of Geographic Information and Administrative Boundaries
In view of greater impact of such factors as geographic information and administrative boundaries on optimal partitioning of substation service areas, a mathematical model of service area optimization is established, and a method to optimize service areas, in which geographic information and administrative boundaries are taken into account, is proposed. In the proposed method the objective function and evaluation function are defined respectively to examine the economy and reasonableness of planning results. The geographic information and administrative boundaries are dealt with by penalty function, and combining with the modified K-Means algorithm the established model is solved. The weights of load nodes and capacity constraints of clusters are theoretically derived. Because of considering load nodes and capacity constraints of clusters in the algorithm, the distance formula is redefined, and the measures to jump out of local solution and speed up the calculation are put forward. Taking service area optimization planning of an 110 kV substation located in a certain planning region for example, calculation results show that the results of the planning are effective and feasible.
