Optimal Scheduling Method of Offshore Wind Farm Groups With Energy Storage Considering Power Time Shift Between Adjacent Offshore Wind Farms
The power time-shift ability between adjacent offshore wind farms due to the wake effect can provide an effective support for offshore wind farm groups to participate in the active power optimization scheduling of the power grid.An optimal scheduling method of offshore wind farm groups with energy storage considering the time shift of inter-site power is proposed in this paper.Firstly, the power tracking requirements of a wind farm group are quantified based on the power forecasting of the offshore wind farm group and the active power scheduling plan of the power grid.Considering the wind speed propagation time, the power time-shift model between wind farms is established, and the power time-shift ability between the wind farms is used to participate in grid scheduling.Energy storage is coordinated to further track the scheduling plan for the output deviation. Then,in order to minimize the operation cost of the system, the optimal scheduling model of the joint energy storage of the offshore wind farm group considering the power time shift between the farms is constructed. Finally,an actual offshore wind farm group with the energy storage system is taken as an example for simulation verification. The results show that the proposed method is able to effectively reduce the energy storage scheduling cost, and achieve the tracking of offshore wind farms to the grid active power scheduling plan by using the ability of power time shift between the adjacent offshore wind farms.
