Hybrid Energy Dispatching Strategies for Island Group Electric Hydrogen Based on Energy Storage Ships
The development of island/offshore new energy is often hindered with the difficulty in power transmission. For an island power grid that has not been interconnected through any submarine cables, the hydrogen generation and the battery delivery modes for the surplus new energy have their own advantages and disadvantages. To combine the advantages of the two modes,a hybrid electric hydrogen transmission mode based on the energy storage ships is proposed in this paper.Firstly, the energy interconnection and sharing mode of island groups based on the energy storage ships is put forward. The battery pack and the gas storage tank are used as carriers to realize the flexible transformation of the energy and the flexible transfer between the islands;Secondly, the mathematical analysis model of the electric and hydrogen energy conversion efficiency is constructed.By comprehensively considering the battery loss and the hydrogen production efficiency, the optimal power distribution mechanism between the hydrogen production and the battery storage for the surplus new energy is discussed to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of the two delivery modes under different new energy output scenarios; Then,by building the cost analysis model of the hydrogen energy storage and transportation, the relationship between the key parameters of the compressed hydrogen storage such as the pressure, the volume and the economic cost is studied, and the corresponding daily operation scheduling optimization model of the electric hydrogen mixed transportation is presented. Finally, simulation analysis is carried out based on the actual geographical data of an archipelago in Zhuhai City,Guangdong province. The results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
