Isolation,Identification and Drug Susceptibility Test of Bactrian Camel Abscess Pathogens in Alashan Area
In recent years,Bactrian camel abscesses have shown a high incidence trend, seriously threatening the healthy development of camel breeding industry. This study is based on natural cases of abscesses in Alashan Bactrian camels.Purulent fluid and scab were collected for pathogen isolation and purification.Mor-phological and scanning electron microscopy were used to observe the morphological characteristics of the isolated bacteria.16S rDNA of the isolated bacteria was amplified for comparative analysis of base se-quences,and drug sensitivity tests were conducted in combination with CLSI standards. The results showed that three pathogenic bacteria were isolated from the samples and identified by morphology and molecular biology as Staphylococcus aureus,Staphylococcus squirrel, and Proteus Mirabilis.Drug sensitivity tests showed that among the 16 antibiotics, ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin are sensitive to all three pathogens, which has important practical value in guiding clinical veterinary rational drug use.
