凹凸棒石对动物肠道屏障功能的调控作用及其在畜禽生产中的应用

凹凸棒石又称坡缕石,是一种层链状富镁铝硅酸盐黏土,不仅能够有效吸附细菌、重金属、霉菌毒素以及细菌毒素等,而且可以维护动物消化道黏膜.饲粮添加凹凸棒石能够改善动物肠黏膜形态结构、增加肠道杯状细胞数量、促进肠道紧密连接蛋白表达、调节肠道微生物平衡、提高肠道免疫球蛋白水平和抑制促炎因子基因表达,以及提高动物生产性能.同时,凹凸棒石能够有效缓解霉菌毒素、致病菌和脂多糖等病原体诱导的动物肠道屏障功能损伤.本文阐述了凹凸棒石对动物肠道屏障功能的影响及可能作用机制,综述了凹凸棒石在畜禽生产中的应用和研究进展,以期为动物肠道健康营养调控以及凹凸棒石在畜牧业中合理应用提供参考.
Regulatory Effects of Attapulgite on Animal Intestinal Barrier Functions and Its Application in Livestock and Poultry Production
Attapulgite is a layer chain crystalline hydrated magnesium-aluminosilicate mineral,also known as palygorskite,which can adsorb bacteria,heavy metals,mycotoxins,and bacterial toxins effectively and repair and protect the gastrointestinal mucosa of animals.It is reported that dietary supplementation with attapulgite can improve gut morphology,increase the number of goblet cells in the intestine,promote the expression of tight junction proteins in the intestinal tract,regulate intestinal microbiota balance,increase the levels of immu-noglobulins in the intestine,inhibit the gene expressions of pro-inflammatory factors,and improve animal per-formance.In addition,attapulgite has demonstrated the ability to effectively mitigate the impairment of animal intestinal barrier functions caused by mycotoxins,pathogenic bacteria,lipopolysaccharide,and other patho-gens.This paper reviewed the research progress on the effects of attapulgite on animal intestinal barrier func-tions and summarized the latest research findings on the application of attapulgite in animal production,in order to provide theoretical references for improving animal intestinal health through nutritional regulation and at-tapulgite using in animal production.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(1):25-32]
