Research Progress of Respiratory Calorimeter for Livestock and Poultry
The respiratory calorimeter device has seen significant development and application in recent years.It has found extensive use in studying the energy metabolism of livestock and poultry,as well as in measuring greenhouse gas emissions from ruminants.This paper provides a review of the research status of respiratory cal-orimeters,including their design principles,device construction,and the application of respiratory masks and chambers.The aim is to offer a reference for energy metabolism measurement in livestock and poultry.[Chi-nese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(1):124-140]
