Research Progress on Bacteriostasis of Plant Extracts on Pathogenic Bacteria of Animal Diarrhea and Its Mechanism
A variety of bioactive substances in plant extracts can inhibit pathogenic bacteria of intestinal diarrhe-a in livestock and poultry,and has been widely used as feed additives in livestock production.This review fo-cused on the research progress on the source,antibacterial activities and action mechanism and the treatment and prevention mechanisms of bacterial diarrhea in livestock and poultry of plant extracts in recent years,in or-der to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of animal diarrhea by plant extracts.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(3):1515-1524]
