Pathogenesis and Nutritional Regulation of Infectious Salpingitis in Chickens
Salpingitis is a high incidence of reproductive tract diseases in laying hens. The most common form of salpingitis is the invasion of external pathogenic microorganisms with the main pathogen of Escherichia coli, which leads to the egg reduction or even stagnation of laying hens. The supply of full nutrients is the material basis for the normal operation of immune function, and plays a key role in the regulation of the maturation, differentiation and secretion of immune cells.Under inflammatory pathological conditions, additional nutrients can help to restore the immune function of the fallopian tube, reduce lymphocyte infiltration and inhibit apopto-sis by regulating hormone and inflammatory factor levels, and then alleviates salpingitis. In this paper, the pathogenesis and molecular mechanism of infectious salpingitis in chickens were explained, and the effects of nutritional regulation on reducing salpingitis and maintaining body health were systematically reviewed,in order to provide theoretical basis and effective intervention measures for scientific prevention and treatment of infec-tious salpingitis in chickens.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(7):4136-4144]
