Study on Trace Element Requirement and Dynamic Prediction Model for Jing Tint 6 Laying Hens from 13 to 17 Weeks of Age
Based on the principle of factorial method, this study was conducted to determine the trace element requirement for Jing Tint 6 laying hens from 13 to 17 weeks of age by feeding experiment and comparative slaughter experiment, and to establish a dynamic prediction model.A total of 198 healthy 13-week-old Jing Tint 6 laying hens with an initial body weight of(845.47±28.65)g were selected and 102 laying hens among them were randomly divided into 6 replicates with 17 chickens per replicate for the growth requirement determi-nation,and the additional 96 laying hens were used to determine the maintenance requirement.Maintenance re-quirement experiment was divided into 100%free feeding group,70%free feeding group and 40%free feed-ing group according to different feed intake, the data in 100%free feeding group was shared with the date in growth requirement experiment, and the 70%free feeding group and 40%free feeding group had 6 replicates in each group and 8 chickens in each replicate. The experiment lasted for 5 weeks. The results showed as fol-lows:1)the growth curve of laying hens was y=1 925.600exp-4.347exp(-0.02t);the dynamic relationship between body weight gain and day of age was y'=1 180.25exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02].In which y re-presented body weight gain(g),and t represented day of age.2)The daily growth requirement of copper,i-ron,zinc and manganese for each laying hen was 0.01 to 0.02 mg/d,0.28 to 0.47 mg/d,0.21 to 0.32 mg/d and 0.01 to 0.03 mg/d,and the daily maintenance requirement of them was 0.01,0.20,0.08 and 0.02 mg/d,respectively.3)The dynamic prediction models of copper, iron, zinc and manganese requirement with day of age of laying hens were as follows:NCu={ 0.011[1 925.600exp-4.347exp(-0.02t)]0.75-2.242exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+4.545exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]-0.118exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+0.455exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]}/ADFI/A;NFe={ 0.211[1 925.600exp-4.347exp(-0.02t)]0.75-42.371 exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+136.361exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]-22.661exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+40.908exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]]/ADFI/B;NZn={0.084[1 925.600exp-4.347exp(-0.02t)]0.75+12.747exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+4.545exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]-24.785exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+45.454exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]}/ADFI/C;NMn={ 0.021[1 925.600exp-4.347exp(-0.02t)]0.75-0.236exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+2.273exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+0.590exp[-4.347exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]+0.045exp[-8.694exp(-0.02t)-0.02t]}/ADFI/D.In which N represented the daily dietary trace element requirement of each laying hen(mg/kg);t represented day of age;ADFI represented average daily feed intake(kg);A,B,C and D repre-sented the digestibility(%)of copper, iron, zinc and manganese,respectively.4)The dynamic prediction models of copper, iron, zinc and manganese requirement with body weight of laying hens were as follows:NCu=(3.05 × 10-7LBW2-0.000 703LBW+0.364 2+0.011BW0.75)/ADFI/A;NFe=(3.4 × 10-6)LBW2-0.007 2LBW+4.326 8+0.211BW0.75)/ADFI/B;NZn=(0.001 2LBW-0.295 3+0.084BW0.75)/ADFI/C;NMn=(-1.8×10-6LBW2+0.003 9LBW-1.897+0.021BW0.75)/ADFI/D.In which N represented the daily dietary trace element requirement of each laying hen(mg/kg);LBW represented live body weight(kg);BW0.75 re-presented metabolic body weight(g);ADFI represented average daily feed intake(kg);A,B,C and D re-present the digestibility(%)of copper, iron, zinc and manganese, respectively. In conclusion, the require-ment of copper, iron, zinc and manganese for Jing Tint 6 laying hens from 13 to 17 weeks is 0.02 to 0.03 mg/d,0.48 to 0.67 mg/d,0.29 to 0.40 mg/d and 0.03 to 0.05 mg/d,respectively,and a dynamic pre-diction model is established.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(7):4316-4328]
