昆虫因含有30%~70%(干物质基础)的蛋白质,还富含脂肪、矿物质和维生素,受到畜牧行业的广泛关注.此外,昆虫还可利用餐厨垃圾等有机生物质废弃物,将其转化为高营养价值的动物性饲料原料,且昆虫生产所需土地、水很少,温室气体排放量远低于畜禽.在所有的昆虫中,黄粉虫被认为是最有希望替代家禽饲粮中鱼粉和豆粕的新型昆虫蛋白质饲料资源之一.本文综述了黄粉虫的生命周期、营养价值及其对家禽生产性能、肠道健康与免疫状态以及肉品质、蛋品质的影响等,以期为黄粉虫在家禽养殖中的应用提供参考,并推动黄粉虫作为饲料原料的发展.
Research Progress on Nutritional Value of Yellow Mealworm and Its Application in Poultry Production
Insects have received a lot of attention because they contain between 30%and 70%of protein on a dry matter basis and are highly nutritious with high fat,minerals and vitamins.In addition,insects can also use organic biomass waste such as kitchen waste to convert it into high-value animal feed raw materials,and insect production requires less land and water,and greenhouse gas emissions are far lower than livestock.Among the different insect species,yellow mealworm(Tenebrio molitor)is currently considered one of the most promis-ing insect species to be used as innovative protein source for fish meal and soybean meal substitution in poultry diet.In this paper,the life cycle,nutritional value of yellow mealworm and its effects on poultry performance,intestinal health and immune status,meat quality and egg quality were reviewed,in order to provide a refer-ence for the application of yellow mealworm in poultry production and promote the development of yellow mealworm as a feed material.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(8):4773-4781]
