Research Progress on Physiological Functions of Xylooligosaccharide and Its Application in Livestock Production
Xylooligosaccharide is a kind of functional polymeric sugar with prebiotic activity,which can regu-late lipid metabolism,immune function,intestinal morphology and antioxidant capacity of animals,and has been widely used in diets of livestock and poultry.In this paper,the research progress on physicochemical properties and physiological functions of xylooligosaccharides and its application in livestock production were reviewed,so as to provide some theoretical references for the development and popularization of xylooligosac-charides.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2024,36(11):6808-6816]
